Preschool Dance Instructor

As a dancer and performer, Jessica cultivated her love of dance at the age of 12.  She would hit the dance floor with her friends at grade school dances, showing off their choreography to Spice Girls songs.  She would also bust a groove with her dad at father-daughter dances, and seeing his moves, it wasn’t until then when she realized where she gets her natural ability to dance!  As one of her biggest supporter and inspiration, her dad signed her up to take dance classes at Steppin’ Out Academy.  From there, Jessica improved her skills and technique in Hip Hop.  Throughout high school, she become more involved in musicals and plays, such as Footloose but in college, is where Jessica wanted to get more serious in her dance journey and explore additional genres in the dance world.  She broadened her scope and experience in different techniques like: Jazz, Contemporary Ballet, African, Modern, and Improvisation.  She was also a member of Escape Velocity Dance Troupe and Ursinus College Dance Company.  Jessica graduated from Ursinus with a B.A. in Dance and resides is West Norriton with her 2 boxer dogs (Bella & Bruno) and cat (Snickers).  She has been dancing with BDCS for the past 6 years and is very excited to start her dance career as a Dance Instructor at Bowman!
