The Magic of Disney Production
The Magic of Disney Production is BDCS’ end of year performance for our preschool students in Bunny Hoppers, Jitterbugs and Jitterbug Stars classes. The Magic of Disney Production is fun for the whole family. The preschool production is a tribute to Disney’s 100th year celebration. Sit back and fall into the magical world of Disney as each preschool class showcases a Disney classic.
Location & Tickets
This year’s productions are being held at Norristown High School’s Auditorium. The address is 1900 Eagle Drive, Norristown PA 19403. The performance will be held on July 29, 2023 at 11:00AM for all Bunny Hoppers, Jitterbugs and Jitterbug Stars classes. Tickets start at $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. Ticket sales begin on July 19th at 9:00 AM and can be purchased using the link provided in the details! VIP members have early access to purchasing tickets on 7/17/23 and will have an access code emailed to you.
Hair and Makeup:
The Magic of Disney is a formal show and all dancers participating should have formal ballet bun and makeup on for the stage. We have put together tutorials below to help you in creating the perfect show day look for your dancer. Preschool performers ages 2-6 should have hair in a high ballet bun and younger female student makeup. Picture Day is Tuesday, July 18th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

Rehearsal is Saturday, July 22nd
- Bunny Hoppers 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM
- Jitterbugs and Jitterbugs Stars 10:00AM to 10:45 AM
Rehearsal will be held at BDCS studio in the red and blue studios. This rehearsal is for students to understand the logistics of the show. We will be running through the entire show. This is the only time we will be able to run the entire show before the performers are on stage, so it is important for every performer to be present for this rehearsal. There are many sections where multiple classes are on stage and dancing together. This rehearsal will be the first time they get to run it all together so we can make the show on stage seamless. This rehearsal is extremely important for a smooth and stress-free experience for all. Please make sure your performer is in attendance for this rehearsal. Dancers should wear their uniform for class to rehearsal.
Show Day: July 29, 2023
- Show starts promptly at 11:00AM. Please arrive 1 hour prior to the start of the show to pick up your costume rental, change into costume and check your dancer in for the show!
After the show, please check out your dancer and return your costume prior to leaving the theater building.
Professional Videographer & Photographer Booked!
BDCS has hired a professional videographer and photographer from EAP Dance Photography and Video to capture all of the memories for all 3 of our productions this year! This is an added extra bonus to our families this season that is included in your annual membership fee. All BDCS families will receive a FREE digital copy of the video and digital access to the photos for download.
