Ms. Hannah

Acting Instructor

Hannah Opdenaker is excited to be a part of the BDCS team! She is a recent graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University, where she earned her BA in Theatre, with concentrations on education and performance. Some of her show credits at “The Mount” include Mrs. Gotlieb (Dead Man’s Cellphone), Iphigenia (Iphigenia and Other Daughters), Lisette (The Metromaniacs), and Susannah (Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play). She also was featured in staged readings of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, No Exit, Much Ado About Nothing, and Lysistrata. While her favorite place to be is Center Stage, Hannah also spent much of her college theatre career exploring all areas of the art form, including costuming, stage management, and direction. In her final semester, she directed a cast of 25 in a modern adaptation of Lysistrata. Hannah has taught classes in character development and analysis, stage movement, improv, and was a Teaching Assistant for Acting I, Acting II, and a Triple Threat class. She is so excited to join the BDCS Team, and work with students on finding their inner characters on stage!
