Cara King specializes in teaching classical ballet and creative movement. As a youth Ms. King trained in the rigorous Royal Academy of Dance syllabus (based in the U.K.) and completed the official examinations as per the program. She also participated in summer intensives at the Pennsylvania Central Youth Ballet, and later went on to earn a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography from Hope College in Michigan. After returning to the Philadelphia area she began teaching ballet for the Settlement Music School (Germantown) school partnership program, and then later at Wissahickon Dance Academy in Philadelphia, and also for residency programs for the non-profit organization International Ballet Exchange. She loves children, loves the art of dance, which is why she also loves teaching and has loads of fun doing it!
