Acting, Dance, Vocal Instructor

Angela has spent her life studying the art of singing, dancing, acting, and teaching, focusing on all fields diligently and extensively. From a young age she filled her days with dance classes, singing lessons, and performing in shows. Angela received her BA Degree in Theatre- Acting/Directing Track from DeSales University where she also studied in adjunct dance classes and voice lessons. Angela’s vocal training spans fifteen years of lessons in choral, opera, musical theatre, and pop styles of singing. She is cross trained in several dance styles including, ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, and lyrical. Angela performed professionally, choreographed for, and has taught and developed theatre curriculum in and around the Philadelphia area at such theaters as The Walnut Street Theatre, Devon Theatre, The Media Theatre, Candlelight Theatre, and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Angela was honored to have her choreography earn a Philadelphia Barrymore Award Nomination for her work on “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, a show and experience she will never forget. With teaching as her truest passion, Angela has taught dance and set choreography at numerous dance studios in the area including, Kicks Academy of Dance, Twirl, and Bowman Dance Company and School. She has also served as a teaching artist and private voice instructor for Wolf Performing Arts Center, and has choreographed for Children’s Theatre productions, directed Dance Troupe shows, and Programs Coordinated for Upper Darby Summer Stage for over ten years. She was the Head of Theatre and Dance at Moorestown Friends School where she built and taught drama curriculum for 5-12th grade and directed and choreographed over fifteen musical, play, and Dance Team productions during her time there. Angela was one of four adjunct professors at Camden County Community College’s Professional Theatre Training Program, teaching Movement for the Actor and Acting through Song courses. Currently, Angela serves as the Music and Choir teacher for Notre Dame De Lourdes school, a PreK-8th grade Catholic School near her home. When not taking part in working on the performing arts, Angela cherishes every second she gets to spend with her two beautiful children and her loving husband each day. Angela feels blessed to do what she loves each day as well as to have had countless experiences helping budding performers hone their craft.
